resource system & other input
edit: This topic was split and broken out from another by snowdrop on 9:th of april 2016 About the Kingdoms+Regions: After re-reading the rules I see the purpose of them (there's a LOT to read xD), and they seem like they could be neat. However, this particular rule can potentially cause mana-screw...

Re: Are you making a game or a motivational speech?
Quick notes on my opinions on MtG-like game mechanics: -Dealing damage to your opponent should make them mill a card (put a card from their deck into their discards). That way a small deck is balanced by a lower health pool, you can scry opponents then decide whether it's worth attacking, players' h...

Re: Is there a public list of cards?
Well, I would think that the faction's mechanical concepts would be the first thing to be designed, but it seems that this link contains the only faction mechanics available so far: http://wtactics.org/wiki/index.php?title=File:Faction_abilities.jpeg By the way, the factions' lore seems to fit in wi...

Re: Is there a public list of cards?
Alright, sounds good. I just want you to know that I would be okay with reading a wall of text describing the cards; it doesn't have to be some fancy database, although I see that there's already a working program for the database. By the way were cards planned out before this project went to sleep?

Re: Let's boil it down to the minimum
That's not the bare minimum. You can drop the automatic rule enforcement and allow players to enforce it themselves, similar to this program: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/bluewhite-controlaggro/playtest/ . In fact, there's probably ways to put WTactics on programs like that which are already aroun...

Is there a public list of cards?
Can I get a link to a public list of cards' names and rules text? I might not contribute to this project, but it would be nice to take a look at what you're doing here
