Re: ARC Playtest Round 3 : a summary
I also think it strongly depends on the kind of decks. Pick a good fast aggressive red deck in MTG and the game is usually over in 5 to 10 minutes. Take a defensive blue/white deck and it may drag into hours. I'm also in the camp who would favor game sessions of about 10 to 30 min, but not more.

wow, that's quite hefty, I didn't expected that ...I think you can switch to an A0 since the site handles very few traffic.

Re: Demo : new card database and generation tool
I notice the difference, now it takes quite some time to load ...but it's ok. Btw, I never used azure, may I ask you how much it costs, out of curiosity?

Re: Another attempt at simplified rules
I don't know why I only read it now ...but THIS should be the rules! :D Honestly, it's simple, it's close to Wesnoth, and it sounds OK. One twist regarding promotions. I'd make these cards only playable on a unit having successfully attacked, and replace it with this upgraded version. It seems nice.

Re: New rule concept: [VSR] Very Simple Rules
Hi there, it's still on my TODO list, but I'm investing my time in other things lately. I also wonder if it's a good idea. Don't take me wrong, but it just adds fragmentation to this project. Basically, every third person in this project re-invents the rules. There was yours, ravenchild's, several m...

Re: A different TCG?
I've played quite some online ccgs. My favorite one until now was: http://www.elementsthegame.com/ ...the are many many different combos and tactics you can apply. It's really versatile, and in my opinion, well balanced. Pretty unique too. Another nice one is: http://www.warofomens.com/ ...it's a fr...

Re: New rule concept: [VSR] Very Simple Rules
Good point! You're right, I totally forgot that! What I had in mind is: you cannot have more troops in the back row than the front row at the end of your turn . However, and that's what I forgot, during your reinforcement phase, you are free to move any troops around, from a row to another ...or eve...

Re: New rule concept: [VSR] Very Simple Rules
Ah, I get why it was misleading. What I meant is that you can still rebuild new buildings as long as you are not "dead" (no more buildings at all). As for the shaman, well, you still have to attack it somehow to get rid of him ...he can't just disappear from itself, right? As for the first remark, s...

Re: New rule concept: [VSR] Very Simple Rules
> We don't need placeholders in the buildings area. Or? Well, without placeholder buildings, you would start "dead" ...isn't it a bit troublesome? ;) > I see now: Gold is only calculated per turn. There is no way to gather gold for later use. (That's good.) And big cards cost more gold than little o...
