[Wiki] ReCaptcha is broken

Post by Ravenchild » Sat Sep 04, 2010 20:22

I can't register/edit articles in the wiki because the reCaptcha image is not shown.

I want to make some card proposals :)

I just tried it and it works for me. Hrm...

Please retry it, maybe also using a different browser. If it still fails, post your system info (OS, browser, internet connection). Perhaps it could be an add-on to the browser as well that blocks it?

I myself use Ubuntu 10.04 and I tried it using both chrome and FF.

It works in Firefox now. Opera still does not show the image.
I suppose this was a temporary failure. But anyway I have now created a wiki account :)

Which version of Opera is that, and on what OS? I think I've tried it in Opera and that it worked back then, but it would be nice to try again to see if it's really a prob with that browser combined with the recaptcha. :)

It's the most current version of Opera on ArchLinux. Maybe it's a content-blocking issue but I really don't understand why reCaptcha should be affected by this.
On the other hand Firefox didn't show the image either yesterday. This is really strange. I hope I'll find the reason sooner or later and than I will tell you.
