Re: Sandscape Rebirth?
I think a browser based version should indeed be possible with the tech of today - untap.in pretty much proves it is already. Question is if an already existing layer or engine should be used to get away with it instead of doing it from scratch - like Unity for example. There is no browser-based so...

Re: Sandscape Rebirth?
You and I have had conversations in IRC already, but I'll share my thoughts here to catalyse discussion in the community. I think a browser-based version is the way to go, because I think that's the way computing has gone in the last 15ish years. Standalone client software rarely exists for networke...

Re: Awesome Rule Concept (ARC)
Nico:
I've finished my first round of edits over the whole ARC wiki page (http://wtactics.org/wiki/index.php?titl ... es_Concept). As we discussed in IRC, I added several more "Unclear" indicators throughout, particularly in the Combat rules.

I'm actually not done with that page yet. But if anyone has constructive feedback on the edits I did make, feel free to share.

Re: ARC Playtest Round 3 : a summary
I get what you're saying. I think the best thing might be to have multiple rule sets, so that you can cater to different audiences. I have no objection to the first official rule set of WTactics to be geared towards a more complex game, and where games will last 30 to 60 minutes.

Re: ARC Playtest Round 3 : a summary
For what it's worth, I'm coming from Hearthstone, where games are usually just 6 to 12 minutes or so (I never really measured). I'd rather play several short games than one long one. This lets you leave a gaming session without annoying your opponent because you left mid-game. When scoring, ladders ...

Re: Introduction: Pistos
Are there videos of games being played? That might be a good way for people to get an idea of how the game is played.

Re: Introduction: Pistos
I made an account on untap.in . Trying to fiddle around over there. I'll try to play a game between two accounts I own.
The WTactics wiki doesn't allow account creation, by the way.
