Re: Expansion set and future actions. Input wanted
I would scale back on the levels on development cards. One, possibly two per development card. Okay, looking closer, that is what you are doing on most. I think development is more of a subtype of enchantment (or even a new card type) than a keyword. We could still use the enchantment template for c...

Re: Expansion set and future actions. Input wanted
1. What would be a good name for the expansion set? 2. Should we focus on the Enchantment/Development idea (from Desttinghim) 3. Should we create new pre-constructed decks, 4. Or add complementary cards (extra mill, extra discard, more orcs, more soldiers, more nature/elves) 5. Are there any sugges...

Re: Regarding abillities
I forgot about this thread! I am just going to repeat what julie said - it is better to define the key words if at all possible, and leave it out only if there is no way to fit it on the card. There will always be barrier's to entry, but if we can take down as many as we possibly can, we will have a...

Re: Licensing thoughts (GPL)
Not sure why I haven't posted here yet. I completely agree with this. CC-BY-SA is a better way to license artwork than the GPL. Richard Stallman clearly designed it for software, and I believe he has said on occasion that software like games should be distributed in two pieces - the software, and th...

Re: Removing VP from ARC and Improving Cities
That would make sense, however the card generation tool can't handle that right now. To generate inline symbols (as the mark and the current circles) we use a custom designed font, and that's hard and difficult work. Q_x might pull it off, but not me :-) Sticking with the "Produce <x> <faction> res...

Hey, don't know how I missed your post. Welcome aboard! Your app looks cool, I'll have to check it out. It will be good to have more people to playtest the game!

Re: Removing VP from ARC and Improving Cities
Magic recently changed "add X to your mana pool" to "Add X". I actually like removing the words "mana pool" from cards for simplicity's sake. I just really wish they had gone with "Produce X", since I can't help but think "to what?" whenever I see "Add X". May I suggest that the template be "Produc...

Re: The Uprising
http://aminduna.arcmage.org/#/decks/ade9be8e-a414-4da9-a97a-e843a40aa2af I've updated the deck to have a larger focus on Orcs. Removed the Goblin King's Throne Room in favor of Second Son's Army Camp. Only missing art for Goblin Burrower, and I can't think of anything to switch it out for. At this p...

Re: Three new ARC decks ready for review.
Now for a review of Toll of Time. Overall I'm really impressed with the changes that have been made since I last looked at this deck. The art looks good and the mechanics look good. We'll see if that survives playtesting :P Toll of Time Binding Contract - Fixed a typo. Carpe Diem - Should we spell o...
