Re: Another attempt at simplified rules
Thanks for the feedback. But I noticed that there is still something important missing. I did not describe how to handle combat i.e. how to deal and resolve damage during a fight. I also did not decide if attacking units are unavailable for defending afterwards. We could simply go the MTG route here...

Re: Simplified rules
The game is won by being the first to be the first one to achieve a pre-defined amount of Victory Points. In the rare case where all remaning players both get 0 or less the player with the highest amount of victory points is the winner. If that is also equal then the game is considered a draw. [......

Another attempt at simplified rules
I was wondering how complex a simple ruleset has to be in order to still be interesting. I know from the world of modern programming languages that it's usually better to have a relatively simple programming language, but everything that is in that language is very powerful and versatile so that mor...

Re: rebooting project
Hey snowdrop, nice to have you back!
Let's see how things will go this time. It's kind of funny that this project is still not dead after all these years of neglible activity. And now things look like they are getting traction again. Sometimes you just have to wait for the right time...

Re: Simplified rules
We certanily still need to do a lot of experimenting to find a good ruleset. So any experiment, no matter how radical, can potentially lead to a better ruleset. You list of things to remove is pretty long. I wonder what is still left if we remove all of that. Especially with no gold and resource lim...

Re: New Card type: Kingdom (and some rule changes)
First of all: Sorry for not going into the details. I just wanted to say that: First of all, I'd like to call them cities instead of kingdoms. I like the idea. This fits much better with the concept of conquest than kingdoms because the latter are just so much larger. A city is something that you ca...

Re: Who is still on board?
So Mattaiyah, Ravenchild, are you still aboard? Or at least willing to help get us started again? I noticed that this project is not completely dead yet. I would love to see this project getting traction again. But I am currently lacking time to systematically do something for the project. Am I rig...

Re: Playtesting tool
I just created a dummy account:
