Good find... all what you wrote holds true if one follows the syntax-logic established by MtG...

Think it means the last one of those.... in contrast to MtG we don't call every card "a spell"...

Re: ORC done for playtest

Good job on the wrapping up of the ORC rules, they seem to become more and more consistent. Thanks. They're lacking some polish, but it will come around. They're finally at a point where they are consistent enough to be able to playtest all of the "core ideas" of the ORC. I like the way the 'top' o...

Re: (arc) Resource piles

Available/unavailable movement is quick (sliding the counters is way faster then rotating cards). I agree it's faster (but not noticeably or to an extent where that matters psychologicaly even in the long run (but I am interested in measuring it by watching a couple of MtG games actually, would be ...

(arc) VP:s and City zones

1) I don't understand, from reading the current revision of the rules and using the search, how one can ever earn any VP. :D It only says when I may lose, but in the rules it's early indications of that you can also gain VP and need to achieve that victory condition. Did I miss out on something? 2) ...

(arc) Resource piles

What function does it fill? Wouldn't it be best to j...

Re: Elvish Ambush (or general design question)

In general , that's not how symbols are meant to be used, which is sending something to reciever that is direct and sums something up, like for example "this costs x resources". Haven't heard ng say something about it being multi-used, or if he, due to other resource system, droppes the symbolism of...

Re: Fantasy Europe 1815 ruleset

I suggest you don't put time in coding unless you enjoy it or want to make it an AI and single player et.c: There are already engines out there, some of which run on Linux also, like VASSAL for example, that will let you easily create and mulitplay with anyone.
