Re: Rules text style?
I will get this put on to the wiki in a little bit. EDIT: On number 7, I think italicized is the way to go. It is reminder text, there if wanted/needed, but should be unobstrusive otherwise. Bolding and italicizing the entire definition will make it overpowering to the other card text. Also, when I ...

Re: Three new ARC decks ready for review.
I have a few things to say for initial review, and I'll come back later with playtested criticism. I'm going to start with the Brothers in Arms deck and move on to the other ones as time permits. Right off the bat, I don't like the X for city defense points. Cities should have a set amount, adjusted...

Rules text style?
We have a style guide for the art on the cards, but we don't have one for the cards themselves. I'm talking mostly about the text. I have a number of questions (and probably more in the future) that need to have answers so we can have consistent formatting for our cards. Do we end every sentence or ...

Re: The Uprising
Alright, I've spent some time (probably too much) uploading this deck to the database. I have modified it, so all of this deck should be taken as very early rough draft. I will probably make some test cards so I can play against myself and then report back.
Here's the link.

Development Cards
This is an idea I had while working in the yard today. The jist of it is that cities can gain additional levels and so forth from a type of cards called "developments." This would act like enchantments in MTG, except for having a focus on cities and having a less mystical nature. In my mind, these c...

Re: The Uprising
Hi, I would love to put the cards into the database but I either don't have an account there or don't remember how to log into it. The login doesn't work and I get an error message telling me to talk to the administrator when I try to sign up. Also, keep in mind that I wasn't the only one working on...

The Uprising
I mentioned in the thread about removing victory points that I had developed a goblin/orc based Red Banner deck with a friend. Well, here it is! Most of the cards are new, and many are a little revised from what they were. The ORC goblin/orc deck was my starting point, so credit to snowdrop for any ...

Re: Removing VP from ARC and Improving Cities
Hey, sorry it has been a while. I've been moving around and I have not managed to set up a playgroup to do any more testing of Arcmage. I have to admit, after playtesting a few more times, I've changed my mind about this. I think it would likely be worth the investment to simplify the game. Dark Leg...

Hey, you're the developer of Hexoshi! I thought you're avatar was familiar. I'm Louis, and I've not done a whole lot but I've been poking at the rules every now and then with some of my Magic playing friends to try and give it a more distinct feel. Definitely excited to see more people join the proj...

Re: Regarding abillities
+1 from me. This is an issue I had been meaning to bring up eventually. Magic also does this, except for cards where there isn't enough space for it to fit (cards with lots of abilities or more complicated rules text). I like the idea of the database integration and tagging as well.
