Re: Trunk
I hope to finish this in a couple of days to have it in usable state. Sounds like lightning speed. :P That does not include a fancy CSS design Doesn't matter, styling stuff is usually added at the end anyways, unless of course working with a template engine or something that needs complex styling. ...

Re: Trunk
My current plan is to implement the following: - card search Please make the result (actually, almost everything that has to do with the script) have the relevant variables outputted in the URL itself. Using PHP $_GET Function? That way people can bookmark the URL and instantly reach that specific ...

Re: Trunk
Maybe we should just whip up a webbased database of our own for the cards, one that also keeps tracks of revisions etc? I'm thinking along the lines of PHP + MySQL and also keeping it open source. It would look something like the MtG Gatherer but better. Would you be up for the task? Shouldn't take...

Re: Bazar Explorer not updating
a) Has it ever worked for you as it should have? Example, did it properly update from 3 to 4? Or is this the first time you try the update? b) Have you successfully "checked out" (in other words, properly downloaded all the content of 4 from the B Explorer) the content to your hard disk? c) Could yo...

Re: Ravenchild
Indeed. That was what I had in mind. I didn't know that such projects already exist. Luckily for all, they do. :) I tried to outline some of their pros and cons in the general design document (GDD). For linux, the only native alternative I know of is gCCG. It's also the most complete and complex on...

Re: Ressource System
I totally understand. But I suppose you also want to avoid taking names from MTG. To be honest, I don't care at all about being original (or, more correctly, to sound original) as it's not the goal with the project. There is however some good points for us wanting to avoid copying everything straig...

Re: Finished cards?
I think we should concentrate more on cards that act on the WT-specific rules. /../ By having and sharing these cards (or the card's concepts) we get a better common idea of what the game will play like. My own thoughts were to focus on creating one single playable faction, with all of it's cards a...
Re: Trunk
...I suggest that you create a trunk/cards/ directory where all cards we are now designing are placed in textual form. This way we can track any changes (improvements) to the cards by date and version. Could maybe be an idea, indeed. My worry is that we'd end up relying on multiple sources that wou...

Re: [Wiki] ReCaptcha is broken
Which version of Opera is that, and on what OS? I think I've tried it in Opera and that it worked back then, but it would be nice to try again to see if it's really a prob with that browser combined with the recaptcha.
