Re: ARC updates
Hoi there, Thanks. I also feel they are solid. If player needs to win the domain 2 times in a row to actually win it for real I would have changed your marking of the creatures that are claiming the domain into an assign instead: That way you a) put more at stake and b) don't have to unmark them nee...

Introduction Nico
Hello all, I haven't gotten around to Introduce myself at all. Where to begin? Ah, yes,... "Concerning Hobbits" Clear to say I'm an old time MTG player, love fantasy books by Robin Hobb, Blake Charlton (check out his Spellwright Trilogy, there the main character is a dyslexic post-doctoral academic ...

Re: Introduction saart
Hi saart, Welcome aboard. It's nice to have someone from France, that means that I don't have to go all the way to Sweden to playtest a game of WTactics. (I'm from Belgium). As I suggest to anyone new, take your time to get familiar with all the info that's available. Feel free to discuss the ARC / ...

Re: Introduction: James J. Angel
Hi James, Seems that our little community is growing. Don't feel in a rush to do anything but getting familiar with the project and the people here. When you're up to speed, I'd like to hear all your thoughts about the ORC and ARC. And the decks we're building. It would also be very nice to see some...

ARC updates
split by snow Hey all, I've updated the ARC to incorporate the things discussed here. (start with three cities face down) It also solves the problem I had in the ARC, when no city was in play at start. It didn't work with the rule 'When all of your cities are destroyed you lose the game'. So it's s...

Re: Easier Kingdom Rules
Hey Matt, Ravenchild, I was also thinking more in those lines (removing the cities/region pile). This is what I had in mind for the ARC. - At the start of the game you can select 3 cities, one for Soul, one for Body and one for Mind from your deck. - You reveal them to your opponent and place them i...

Re: Testing "new" region layout
Hey Peter,
In the ORC the region cards don't have costs.
What you see is their HP (def/strength).
Kind regards,
Nico

Re: Mulligan
Hey snowdrop, I'm not at all against a mulligan per sé. I'm just questioning the need for it, in our ruleset. It's indeed all dependent on what deck you have, how you've balanced the small cost cards against the heavy cost cards. All I'm suggesting is that we try it out. With our two cards draw and ...

Re: Testing "new" region layout
Hey snowdrop, They look great. I would keep the shield as toughness dough, to make it consistent with the other cards. 1. = This card can only be placed in the chapter called "1", and no other chapters, ever. .2 = This card can only be placed as second from the top down in the chapter it belongs to....
