Peter wrote:I "extracted" the template and tried to "edit" it, but argh, this is beyond my drawing skills. For instance the border lines are not just an mono-colour line but rather have a colour gradient! Sorry to say, but I can't do that.

I'll rather stick to playtesting and maybe inventing some more cards when I have played WT a bit.
No worries Peter, I already appreciate the effort for at least trying.
As for playtesting, there is an awesome new rule set for you to try out.

Hi folks,

The tool now supports the red banner faction as well.
Furthermore thanks to Matt, there is an example template for the house of nobles as well.
It will take me some more time to get it ready for use, stay tuned.

Edit: House of Nobles - event template is also supported, I've taken Matt's version,
and tweaked it here and there, e.g. I rotated the logo 90 degrees. When I feel up to it I'll create the creature template as well.

Edit2: I've added the HoN templates for all other types. Feel free to create some cards and play with the different factions and types. (I had a lot of trouble finding a good creature overlay background cf. the gain brownish, red banner yellowish, and dark legion greenish).

Edit3: Based on Matt's early version for a white template, I've added an event template for the empire. The empire's logo is a really really abstract version of an eagle, If anyone can do a better job, please go ahead :-)

All templates used in the card generation can be found on github.
If anyone is interested in making improvements give me a call, I'll help you get going.

Kind regards,
Nico

I'm getting:

Network Error (tcp_error)

A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

I suppose the Server is down for whatever reason, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
I'm using FF 38.7.1 for info.

Hi saart,

Strange, I'm working on it just now.
Did you follow the old dev url, or took the one from the main site/wiki?

Here it is:

I used the IP adress in the first post of this thread. Your link work, but I end up in a page with no cards. There are 3 decks with cards though. Also, when I attempt to register, I get "Authorization has been denied for this request."

... OK, after previous registration bug, I get a sort of nameless login until I refresh which allows me to see the cards, but not to create my own. There might be a login/registration bug here.

Hey xarn,

No this is up and running, maybe you still got the old server ip.
You can access the card's db from our main site (cards / decks),
or through the wiki. Or on the following url :

http://wtactics.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/#/cards

If you are not logged in you need to check the 'show draft versions' checkbox.

The decks can be found (and downloaded zip/pdf) at

http://wtactics.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/#/decks

Hi all,

I've downgraded the azure virtual machine where the card database is running on, so it might run a bit slower. First call might also take a while, since it goes to sleep if there's no traffic.

M$ was charging a bit to much, and I rather see my money go to Santi's artwork.
In that regard be sure to check out his recent excellent artwork on these cards:

'Nirvana of the Undead'
http://wtactics.westeurope.cloudapp.azu ... d59ae2e578

'Wild Warg'
http://wtactics.westeurope.cloudapp.azu ... 2caab5a05c

Next up is the 'deadly shock', looking forward to it!

Kind regards,
Nico
