Arcmage leaflet/booklet

Post by ngoeminne » Sat Aug 25, 2018 10:01

Hey everyone,

If we're to distribute the box, should we include a leaflet/booklet, and if so, what information should be on it?
Examples are

- Why we're creating arcmage.
- Quick rules (phases, layout of battlefield, drawing table, combat, resources, play cards)
- Reference to the online rules / abilities / cards
- Play-test disclaimer (that the set is still in development)
- Credits & Lic Info
- Lore (e.g. the factions...)

All input is welcome.
Kind regards,
Nico

Do you want to have one box-set containing all the decks? Or do you want to have a separate package for each deck?

I agree with your bullet points for things that should be included.

It would be cool if we could work in the Creator Endorsed mark somehow, but obviously this is complicated when many of the card art comes from different artists. Just an idea. Creator Endorsed mark: https://questioncopyright.org/creator_endorsed_mark

On another note, I would love to see Arcmage themed playmats. :)

Hey Alex,

As you can see in the pictures of the arcmage-box. It is the entire rebirth set (6 decks).

Thumbs up, I guess that wouldn't be to hard to make, as we have a lot of artwork.

Did you ever play MTG with playmats?
Do you have any links to where it could be produced?

Kind regards,
Nico

Also agreed on the bullet points.
For the playmat, I've liked the playmats that I've gotten from Inked:

I've once ordered custom sleeves with them, they were great but I had to pay import taxes that doubled the price.
