Thank you Nico for the time you spent writing this. It really helps to better know the Arcmage project.

I like the idea of development as a set name and a concept for the new set.

Development can be a great way to combine flavor(my favorite part of mtg) with game play and not only represent the history of the game but also its story, developments could be a representations of special buildings and places in a cite, for example the great bazaar and the mages academy for the HoN or the dark citadel and the ancient Tomb for the Dark legion and so on.

I think development should be a sub type of enchantments and not its own card type , because too many different card types make the game just needlessly complicate and confusing a specially for new players. We should first use up the designs pace we have before we create new card type.
