This is a list of some commonly used expression or abbreviations.
Collectible Card Game ~ A game that's played by using mainly cards. They have often been created exclusively for that game only and the cards are usually sold in a randomized fashion, making them "collectible".
House of Nobles, a faction in WTactics which concentrates itself on deceit and manipulation.
Same as HP/Life of a player. When a players influence is zero or below, she loses the game.
Magic: The gathering ~ Worlds first and most popular CCG. It's still in production and has a large following. The cardpool is made up of over 10 000 cards.
Name of a faction in WT. Members are usually elves, merfolk and humans.
Original Rules Concept ~ The first rule set that was and still if worked upon.
A card that stays on the table in between player turns. Examples of permanent cards are Creatures & Equipment. Event cards are non-permanents.
Resource Pile ~ A pile of resource cards.
The threshold is a faction requirement that has to be met, along with additional requirements like gold cost etc, in order for a card to be able to come into play. If the threshold is x, then you need to have at least x cards of faction f into play already, to be able to play your desired card. Example: You want to play elvish archer, which has a threshold of 2 Gaian cards, you need to have 2 Gaian cards in play already, or you must have played 2 Gaian instants during that specific turn, or a combo of the both.
Wizards of the Coast ~ Worlds largest CCG company. It publishes Magic: The gathering, and it's owned by Hasbro.
